Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 amβ4 pm. Note that it does not open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Susek Family Dentistry at (570) 829-1009; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Plains is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Plains is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

They never answer the phone. Went in to get a chip fixed, ended up with a horrible crown and a deeply rotting nerve that needs a root canal. Spoke in a whisper and refused to speak up even after I informed him of my hearing impairment. Treated my concerns like they didn't matter, refused to give alternative solutions. Took offense to everything I didn't like about the crown that I didn't want or need, stating that he's never had someone be unhappy with a crown before, which I doubt. Was going to let him do the root canal but he sat there trying to repair one of his tools while making comments about the crown so I left. I said i wasn't comfortable continuing, He said he doesn't know how he could've been any nicer. I can think of many ways, and even when he was nice, he wasn't compassionate or understanding. DO NOT GO HERE.

Truly grateful for this dentist. He is absolutely amazing at what he does and I honestly couldn't be happier. Today I got my smile back and although I still have more work to be done, my experience here has been great.

I received dental treatment at this clinic on April 28, 2025. A previous X-ray had shown small chips in five teeth. There was no decay or pain, but I was advised to get βpreventiveβ fillings. Two upper right teeth were treated that day. However, I was not informed in advance that healthy tooth structure would be drilled. A few days later, one of the fillings fell out, and the area became sensitive. I had clearly statedβboth in writing and in personβthat I had never had any fillings before. Despite this, the clinic insisted that the tooth had already been filled and that the filling had merely come loose. They refused to take responsibility or offer a satisfactory solution. I was told the chips would worsen without treatment. But frankly, even if I had chewed bones with those teeth for ten or twenty years, the damage would not have been as severe as the hole drilled by the dentist. In my opinion, if nothing had been done, I wouldnβt be dealing with these problems now. Furthermore, when we visited the clinic to request my dental records, the front desk told us that the dentist had taken them home. When we returned on May 27 to follow up, we informed the staff that we were recordin

I highly recommend the suseks they're friendly and do a great job. I've been going to dr Ryan for 3 years and have had a lot of work done and wouldn't go anywhere else. My spouse sees dr lauren and has been going to her for 2 years he's also had a lot of work done and never had a complaint. The only thing is they're hard to contact and you'll never get a call back but that has nothing to do with the dentists..

When I first arrived at Dr. Sussex, I had my x-rays taken on my teeth. Yes, I had about two cavities all of a sudden every single week I came in more teeth were being drilled, one after another after another after another, which caused breakage in my teeth, and I end up, eventually having to get a bridge or crown whatever so she said that she was going to examine me and put, the mold in for the bridge but every time I came back, she wanted to draw more teeth until she ran out of teeth to drill and then all of a sudden she wouldn't see me no more because I end up missing an appointment and said that I missed too many appointments so she would no longer see me I think she drilled all my teeth literally to make money off my insurance. It doesn't make any sense why every single tooth in my mouth had to be drilled and cavities were there there's no reason whatsoever I've never had cavities like that before in my life and I kept saying it doesn't make sense, and she kept on saying that I had a cavity in there I don't believe that there was , she caused more breakage in my teeth. I had a chip in the front tooth that she asked her to put a temporary filling on it so that I look normal it'
